Surrounded by Bordine’s lush floral displays and the sounds of live music, over 340 attendees enjoyed an unforgettable evening of community, charity, and springtime charm. This year's event raised over $34,000 for local, regional and international charities supported by the Rochester Rotary.
A highlight of the evening was the “People’s Choice Best Taste” contest, where guests voted for their favorite culinary creation. The 2026 contest ended in a tie between downtown Rochester favorites Bologna Via Cucina and Paul’s on Main.
Daniel Bologna of Via Cucina Downtown Rochester shared, “It was a pleasure to be part of such a community-driven event. I admire how Rotary brings people together to use their skills, time, and resources to improve the community. I’m truly honored to be recognized with the Best Taste award and to contribute to such a meaningful event.”
Paul Tinaj of Paul’s on Main added, “We’re incredibly grateful to the Rochester Rotary Club for hosting such a well-run event and bringing the community together. It’s an honor to be recognized, and we truly appreciate everyone who stopped by and supported us.”Event Co-Chair Jeff Duperon reflected on the effort behind the evening: “This event is a labor of love for our small but mighty committee, which begins planning each October. We cherish not only the impact we’re able to make through the funds raised, but also the way this event brings the community together for an evening of fun and philanthropy. Its success is made possible by the generosity of participating restaurants, volunteers, sponsors, silent auction contributors, and our guests.”
Fellow Co-Chair Kyle Johnson echoed the sentiment, highlighting the broader impact: “We’re thrilled with this year’s turnout and the funds raised. It’s always inspiring to see our community come together in support of so many important causes. The energy, generosity, and camaraderie truly made it a meaningful evening for everyone involved.”
