Miyawaki-Style Mini Forest

A Miyawaki mini-forest is a high-density, fast growing pocket forest that is created by planting native trees and shrubs in close proximity to each other in order to restore biodiversity on small urban plots.  Rochester Councilwoman, Marilyn Trent will discuss her work with these mini forests that are being installed within the City of Rochester.
