DIA Community Engagement Manager Colleen McNamara will provide a brief overview of the DIA's work in the surrounding communities, as well as benefits available to all tri-county residents, followed by a presentation of  “The Art of Conservation” by Barbara Heller, DIA Director & Conservator of Special Projects. Barbara Heller's talk will delve into the ongoing scientific and scholarly research that lies at the heart of the Detroit Institute of Arts Conservation and Curatorial activities.
