President Wayne Hodges opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegience, then we sang America the Beautiful, and recited the modified Four Way Test. The invocation was given by Janet Drobnich, reminding us during this holiday season to think about what we are thankful for, and to continue to be Rotarians demonstrating our gratitude for all of our blessings, friendship, health, fellowship, and in so doing change our community for the better. Lunch was served.
ATTENDANCE
We had many Rotarian's present, with two guests. Tom Inger, guest of Wayne Hodges, and Andrea Walker, a previous Rotarian.
15th HANDSHAKE
Sharon Reinke was proud to announce that Paul Haig was the winner of this week's 15th Handshake award, enjoy the week without fines Paul!
HAPPY BUCKS
Paul Haig is happy about the upcoming Christmas Parade, please visit him for warming up, and mentioned his upcoming Christmas Party benefitting Neighborhood House.
Cyndee Andrews announced that she is a new grandmother, congrats!
Tom Neveau was happy to see Brad Upton and Frank Rewold at the Rochester Brewery bell ringing station. He is also happy about being audited by the exchange company for last years student from Italy, in that he was able to follow up with her to see her host family, and find out how she is doing.
Jay Eastman was happy about the Rochester police force taking care of an altercation that happened on Lagniappe before it escalated, nice job!
President Wayne was also happy about the Rochester police and their handling of a traffic issue at Lagniappe as well.
Justin Masters was very happy to announce the birth of their third child, congrats Justin!
Phil Lowman was happy to see Bill Fox this afternoon.
Tim Crawford was happy to announce his daughter determined the sex of their upcoming baby (and didn't tell him yet), and about the upcoming Grand Marshall's Celebration on December 5th at Great Oaks.
David Archbold was happy about bell ringing, and seeing an exchange student's parents while doing so. He was also happy with Steve Cooper and his financial group.
ROTARIAN OF THE WEEK
The Rotarian of the Week was absent (again), further increasing the cash flow (gold of course) through the urinal, er, trophy...
ANNOUNCEMENTS
President Wayne was pleased to recognize the three Jerry's and a Tom for helping setup and tear down our meeting, every week. Thank you!
Kyle Johnson gave an overview of Lagniappe, we earned $1851 for the Salvation Army. Top corner was in front of Home Bakery (hey that was my corner!), congrats Rotarians!
Steve Oehler then spoke briefly about our Poinsettia sales, letting us know that our net proceeds exceeded $12k for our charity work. Plant delivery and pickup is this coming Wednesday and Thursday (December 4th and 5th), please help if you can.
Ron Lichtle then spoke about our Christmas Party coming up on Thursday, December 19th at Great Oaks Country Club. Paula and some surprise entertainment are planned, this should be a great evening.
President Wayne discussed his experience with our trifold business card, please take a few and use them.
Tim Crawford announced that we will be running the Master's Raffle again, if anyone is interested in helping with this event please see Tim.
BIRTHDAYS AND CLUB ANNIVERSARIES
Marianne Reidinger's birthday is the 24th, and Christine Hage celebrated on the 26th, Ethan Hoffman is celebrating on the 30th.
Club Anniversaries: Tate Vo on the 29th and Tom Neveau on the 30th.

Eric Whipple then led us in two songs, On the Sunny Side of the Street and Side By Side. Excellent choices for the day, thanks Eric!
SHERIFF'S REPORT
David Blair then proceeded to fine everyone in the room (including yours truly) for many assorted and sundry reasons, from excessive bell ringing to family visits, Thanksgiving and Phil Lowman. David raised an unknown amount of money for our charities, nice job David!
PROGRAM
For our program today, we had three Rotarians discuss the ins and outs of charitable giving: Steve Cooper, Jerry Wanket, and Vince Mattina. Thanks very much gentlemen for the information.
