President Wayne Hodges opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, then we sang This Is My Country, and recited the modified Four Way Test. The invocation was given by David Eardley, giving thanks for the day and the opportunities that we have to give back to our community, asking for strength to help us to serve, to share our best with those around us. Lunch was served.
ATTENDANCE
We had 48 Rotarians present, with four guests: Julianne Morian guest of Christine Hage, Prodeep Kumar Giak from the Delhi, India Rotary Club, Ryan Deel guest of David Walker, and Amy Converse guest of Linda Eastman.

William Gross was happy to announce that Ron Lytle was free from fines this week, congrats Ron (and Bob too)!
HAPPY BUCKS
Cathy Losinski was happy to announce that our local Meijer is matching two for one donations for the Food Pantry. Christine Hage has volunteered to take money over there, please do so!
Christine Hage was happy to be visited from her grandson from Florida for her birthday.
Paul Haig was happy to announce the Rochester Parade this Sunday, please stop by the store for refreshments. He is also hosting a holiday party to benefit Neighborhood House this week after the Grand Marshall's dinner.
The OPC was happy to accept 350 poinsettia plants donated by Frank Rewold. These plants will be delivered with their Meals On Wheels program.
David Walker was happy to announce the Grand Marshall Gala on Thursday, 6pm at the Royal Park.
President Wayne spoke briefly about December 7th, 1941 (the bombing of Pearl Harbor).
ROTARIAN OF THE WEEK
The Rotarian of the Week was absent ( yet again), further increasing the cash flow (gold of course) through the urinal, er, trophy...
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Al Jones came to the podium to give $2500 to Dutton Farms. The recipient of the check (Jen) then gave a broad overview of who Dutton Farms is, and what they will be using the money for.
David Walker spoke briefly about our Poinsettia sales, we raised close to $12k for our charity work, great job Rotarians! Tomorrow morning, we will need help delivering plants, please report for duty tomorrow, thanks!
Ron Diliddo then spoke about our board nominations for our next fiscal year. There were multiple nominations for both the club board and the charity's board. Elections were held, and our boards were confirmed for next year.
Ron Lichtle then gave a reminder about the Christmas Party, Thursday December 19th, Great Oaks Country Club starting at 6pm.
President Wayne gave a reminder about next week's meeting at Oakland University.
Tom Neveau spoke briefly about the Christmas Parade, all Rotarians are welcome to attend.

SHERIFF'S REPORT
President Wayne then requested everyone put five bucks on the table, raising $219 for our charity work. Nice job Wayne!
PROGRAM
David Eardley then introduced our speaker of the day, Monica Levin. Monica is a body language expert, and spoke to us at length about how to interpret and utilize body language to help us communicate effectively. Great talk, thank you Monica!
