David Eardley opened the virtual meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, then we recited the Four Way Test. Virtual lunch was served.

There were 34 Rotarians present, and 4 guests. Ron Meegan, Theresa Meegan, Kelly Messing, and Christine Britton. Welcome guests! 

David announced to the club Cyndee Andrews earned the 15th logon (handshake) this week, enjoy the week without fines David!
There were many virtual happy bucks given during the meeting, here is a sampling:
Christine Hage was happy that her son, daughter in law, and grandson were up from Florida to visit.
Kathy Losinski wished everyone a happy new year!
Tim Crawford said Go Buckeyes!
Kyle Johnson was happy to see Annette Werner at Costco!
Ron Lichtle is celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary!
Stu Siegner gave the Rotarian of the Week award to Ray Doerr. Congrats Ray!
Tim Crawford gave our club a quick update on the Master's Raffle. Tickets are now for sale!
Vince Mattina gave the club a report on our support of the Rivercrest staff. Our club tipped $2200 to the staff of Rivercrest for their hard work in 2020!
We had 3 birthdays this week! Happy Birthday to Steve Cooper and Eric Whipple on January 6th, Jerry Murphy on January 8th, and Frank Rewold on January 10th! Happy Birthday Rotarians!
We had one club anniversary. John Modetz is celebrating 28 years with the Rotary Club!

Ron Meegan was our speaker today. Ron is the former Assistant Chief Engineer for the LS9 engine in the 2009 Corvette ZR1. Ron gave the club a very detailed overview of the engine program for the LS9, and the considerations the engineering team took in its design.
