ARCH KLUMPH SOCIETY INDUCTION
FOR JAY AND LINDA EASTMAN
Every day, humble individuals are hard at work, quietly transforming the world into a better place. But some days, those individuals need to be recognized publicly. This week, we were able to do just that as Jay Eastman and Linda Eastman were inducted into the Arch Klumph Society, Rotary International's highest honor for contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Congratulations, Jay and Linda. You're an inspiration to us all. To learn more about their biggest project, check out Casa Colibrí.

PROGRAM
Ron Lichtle introduced today's speaker, Marsha Kelliher, president and CEO of Walsh College.  Prior to Walsh College, she served as Dean of Sigmund Weiss School of Business at Susquehanna University in Pennsylvanie, where she led the redesign of the school's London program, initiated the launch of a Women's Symposium and led the reaffirmation of the business school's AACSB accreditation.  She has made a strong impact in the short time she has been at Walsh, leading an ambitious strategic plan initiative and launching two new academic programs:  the country's only multi-course concentration in automotive cybersecurity and the Master of Arts in Business.  She has been recognized as one of DBusiness Magazine's Detroit 500, one of the Most Powerful Business Leaders in Metro Detroit in Education and an honored guest at the 2019 Inforum Inner Circle.  She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Michigan Independent Colleges and Universities and as a Board Member of the Detroit Economic Club.
She shared that 50% of Walsh graduates graduate without debt.  98% of Walsh students come from Michigan, and 96% stay and work in Michigan.  Currently there are 3,200 students across their different campuses.  Walsh also offers scholarships for veterans and is intentional about being veterans friendly, with veterans also serving on the faculty.  Thank you, Marsha, for your great presentation!
