Shirley Gofrank finally found a member who was worthy of the award and passed it on to Annette Werner, who helped Shirley through a rough patch last winter when Shirley's husband had a stroke.

Remember, these “fines” are all in good fun and serve a great purpose: building camaraderie and raising funds for our charitable efforts, especially scholarships. Pattie Griffith, District Youth Exchange Coordinator for District 6380, opened the program by explaining that District 6380 offers two types of youth exchange programs:
She noticed several cultural differences, including driving manual transmissions, the abundance of roundabouts, bathrooms with showers and toilets in separate rooms, and the heavy use of walking, biking, and public transportation for school.
Leonor has been in the U.S. for two weeks and has already done plenty of sightseeing. She has visited Frankenmuth (including the River Walk), gone on ATV rides in Saginaw with Jeff’s dad, attended a family reunion in Oscoda on Lake Huron, and traveled to Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, Benton Harbor, and Chicago.
