- Sheriff Peter Stuhlreyer fined Rachel Aviles for public scorning of those who had not reported any poinsettia sales. Peter asked if this was in the spirit of the 4-Way-Test.
- Tom Neveau was fined for spilling water all over Kyle Johnson's bell-ringing sign-up sheet.
- Everyone wearing plaid was fined. Peter asked if it was the official National Wear Plaid Day.
- Vince Mattina was fined for wearing an MKG-branded sweater now that he is retired. Congratulations on your retirement, Vince!
- Peter recently returned from an Italian vacation. He was confused by some of the signage he saw. A hiking trail was labeled "average difficulty," but Pete felt something was missing in translation because the trail should have been labeled "almost impossible." He did his share of gelato tasting and appreciated the gelato stands along the hiking trail.
- That's all the news that is worth printing, and we collected $235 in fines today. Fines go to support our scholarship program.
