Ryan Deel has been a practicing attorney for almost 20 years. He is the Judicial Staff Attorney for Oakland County Probate Judge Linda S. Hallmark. The Oakland County Probate Court handles guardianships and conservatorships for adults, minors and the developmentally disabled; estates, wills and trusts; and involuntary mental health hospitalizations. Ryan's role is to provide legal advice to the Court and assist parties in reaching a resolution without judicial intervention. The most rewarding part of his job is finding creative ways to assist people in resolving very financially and emotionally charged issues. He also serves as the President of the Rochester Hills City Council. He was elected in 2017 as the city council representative for District 4. Prior to that, served as an elected member of the Rochester Hills Public Library Board of Directors.
Ryan has been married to his college sweetheart for 20 years. They met at MSU when they were college sophomores and have been together ever since. They have 11 year old twin sons: Jack and Brennan.  Ryan has many eclectic hobbies and interests. He is a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, very interested in computers and video games, an avid reader, and owns many RC helicopters and drones.
Ryan is excited to join Rotary for all of the philanthropic involvement and the comradery.
