Laurene Kaschalk has been teaching high school math since 2002. She is currently teaching at Stoney Creek High School where she has been the Faculty Advisor Advisor of the Rotary Interact Club for 10 Years.  The SCHS Interact Club has earned the Rotary Presidential Citation for the past 5 consecutive years. In 2019 the SCHS Interact Club planned and hosted the INTERACT DAY for more than100+ Interactors from District 6380. Laurene is also a past recipient of a Paul Harris Fellow award from the Rochester Rotary.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Laurene worked in Radiation Oncology as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist until she began her student teaching to change careers. She is drawn to careers where she can make a difference, and looks for ways to help others.  She is happily married to Rich for 33 years, and together they have 3 adult children, one grandson, and one granddaughter who will join the family in September, 2020.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her large family and many friends, and taking vacations to Disney.
