Jeff Fosnaugh’s career entails 24 years of teaching Science, 18 of them in Alternative Ed. His passion is for those that are typically looked over.  Every child is valuable and deserves love and attention, no matter what that child’s background or accomplishments.  Jeff’s purpose is to help his students realize their intrinsic value.
Next year Jeff’s daughter and son will be 10th and 9th graders at Rochester Adams.  His wife, a former Science teacher, is now the principal of West Middle School.   His father was a scientist working for Dow Chemical for 35 years and his sister and brother in law both have their PhD in neuroscience.  Family dinners are quite fun.

Jeff’s grandpa was a former Rotary Club President.  In his small town, he gave away much of the treasure he built up over his lifetime founding and running an auctioneering and real estate business.  But the biggest treasure he gave away was to his family – and that is the treasure of the value of helping others.  Service Above Self was instilling in Jeff’s mother and then onto Jeff.

Jeff has been the ACE Interact Faculty Advisor for the past 6 years during which time the Club has earned the coveted Rotary Presidential Citation for the past 5 consecutive years. Jeff has also been honored as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rochester Rotary Club. Jeff believes that, through Rotary, the world is made a better place.  Clean water, educational opportunities, vaccines, all are scientific avenues to improve the lives of millions.
