CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS
Jay Eastman and Marjorie Lockwood donned silly hats to bring attention to final stages of the upcoming Golf Ball drop. We need to sell a few more to exceed last years amazing event.
Don Robinson reminded everyone about the annual Club Golf Outing is scheduled for August 15, 2016 at Pine Trace Golf Club. 75 members and pretenders are registered with room for more.
Tim Duncan reminded everyone about the upcoming game between the White Sox and Tigers on 29AU16. Tim also announced that optional gourmet cuisine is available for those with discriminating pallets at the Tiger Club.

SONGS
Mary Lee Kowalczyk and Bob Lytle led us in acappella versions of "You're A Grand Old Flag" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

SHERRIF
Jim Koester coerced $252 from everyone's pocket starting with commentary about the songs, Deputy Jim observed that, "it was a train wreck and we're not in Kansas any more". He then fined anyone who had ever seen or heard about a train wreck or visited Kansas. Deputy Jim had just spent a weeks vacation with his multitude of kin so he was primed to reward those who enjoyed "Forced Family Fun". He fined everyone who had ever taken a vacation with siblings, gone swimming with same, injured their back while removing their wet swim suit, endured back pain while trying to perform normal bodily functions or suffered the indignity of needing assistance to properly dress oneself without the unwanted aid of prying eyes. He also fined any and all Chiropractors. Roger Byrd got it for failing to mention Rotary in a news article. If you owned an old collectible car,ie Russ Shelton and Dave Archibold, it cost you a buck. If you just dreamed about it, it cost you more. Ed Rylicki paid the most for polluting a local lake as his 75 MPH speed boat lost it's supercharger into the lake while at full power. Deputy Jim was then inspired by Donald Trump's proposed 15% minimum income tax so he fined all politicians, anyone wearing shorts and Bob Lytle because one of Jim's sisters bought two of Bob's books while on vacation.
SPEAKER
Russ Shelton introduced Margret Dimond, who was recently appointed President and CEO at Crittenton Hospital. Margret assured all that Crittenton would remain Rochester's community driven hospital but also stated that the ownership by Ascension strengthened Crittenton's ability to focus on being the best hospital in SE Michigan. Clearly, world class care and treatment is the goal. She noted that already Crittenton was the rated 15% above the Michigan average for the treatment of heart attack victims and that their Emergency Room was rated equal to U of M and closely behind top rated Providence. Presentation details are available upon request.
President Tom closed the meeting promptly at 1:28PM after reminding members about the opportunity to purchase $25 squares with the chance to win a Paul Harris award.

Anyone complaining about this summary, does them thereafter,
Wayne E. Hodges
